This second meeting for the Union Square Utility and Streetascape Improvement Study will provided an update following the work of meeting number one where participants were encouraged to record their comments for Union Square. All of those comments were recorded and can be viewed here: 11_18_13_comments.

After a brief presentation (linked here: SomervilleUnionSquare 29 Jan 14) participants worked with staff at five different breakout stations that built on the comments recorded at meeting one:

1)      Ideas and opportunities for Prospect and Webster St

2)      Ideas and opportunities for Union Square Plaza

3)      Ideas and opportunities for pedestrian facilities

4)      Ideas and opportunities for bicycle facilities

5)      Ideas and opportunities for transit/bus connections in Union Square
